How to report unlawful, nonconsensual, or allegedly infringing material on YouShare.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Send a report

Email admin@you-share.site with the exact YouShare page URL, the reason for your request, and a way to contact you. You may also identify the original publisher URL if known.

Use the subject Urgent safety report for suspected nonconsensual material, exploitation, or material involving minors. Do not attach illegal content or sensitive identification scans.

Copyright notices

For a copyright complaint, include your electronic or physical signature; identification of the copyrighted work; the precise URL of the material or link in question; your contact details; a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the rights holder.

This inbox is a general intake address. Listing it here does not assert that a DMCA designated agent has been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Operators seeking a statutory safe harbor should separately complete all applicable designation and response requirements. See the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA directory.

How reports are handled

YouShare can remove its own links, thumbnails, descriptions, and embeds when appropriate; it cannot directly remove files from independent publisher servers. A report about material hosted elsewhere may also need to be sent to the publisher.

For issues unrelated to copyright ownership, including privacy, nonconsensual material, or safety, describe the concern without claiming ownership you do not have. See the Adults Only & Safety page.
